UPL: Obua starts Tax Collection Job With Tricky Home Tie Against Kitara FC

URA FC hosts newcomers Kitara FC today in Lugazi in the Startimes Uganda Premier League matchday seven.

This will be the maiden game for former Uganda Cranes star turned a coach, David Obua as URA FC head coach and he starts with a very tricky side which has had a perfect start ever since they gained promotion.

Kitara lost their first game of the season last week when Maroons narrowly defeated them 1-0 in Masindi and they’re looking to bounce back to winning ways. They have won five games in six games played so far.

URA FC also lost their first league game last week when BUL FC edged them 1-0 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

This will be the second ever meeting between URA FC and Kitara, when they two sides faced, URA beat Kitara 3-2 at Kavumba.

The second round fixture was not played due to the Covid-19 surge then, in a season where Kitara were eventually relegated

URA FC welcome back captain Enock Walusimbi after serving a two-match ban following a nasty tackle on Samson Kigozi in a game against Wakiso Giants while youngsters Godfrey Ssekibengo and Justin Opiro out due to school exams.

Kitara will miss defender Benjamin Nyakoojo after an injury in FUFA Drum that will sideline him for the rest of the first round and Solomon Okwalinga is on a steady recovery and will not feature.
