“Embrace Religion IN Schools For The Future Of This Country”, Bishop Katumba

The Bishop of West Buganda Diocese, The Rt, Rev Bishop Henry Katumba Tamale, has urged the education sector, especially teachers, to focus on teaching children religion and godliness at an early age because the lack of religion among the people is the main cause of the lack of fear and then commit heinous acts especially with the intention of hurting their fellow human beings including murder, theft and the like as well as leaders, workers

He made these remarks during the Thanksgiving Celebration of 30yrs of Seeta Parents Primary School,and the Dedication Service of 167 who are going to sit for their PLE final exams in Seeta Archdeaconry, Mukono Diocese and he was assisted by Maama Julia Elizabeth Tamale, Ven Canon Edward Balamaze Kironde , Chaplain Rev Samuel Tumwesige Muzawula Junior and Rev Harriet Wamulima.

The Headquarter of this school,Fulge Byansi said they have prepared their students well and have been advised by counselors who have helped them to overcome their fear of exams. 

Mrs Anna Njuki who is the Chief Executive Director urged parents to avoid introducing their children to the internet because of the wrong things they can copy and distract them from their studies and their bright future will be ruined and parents to be a good example to their children and give them time to talk to them about their challenges.

The parents, led by Gordon Katimbo, challenged his fellow parents to help their children walk in the right path by starting with helping them to know and have religion in their hearts as Bishop Tamale urged them and also urged all pupils in the country who are going to sit for their P7 exams to do well without fear to help them get good marks that will enable them to be attracted to the top secondary schools.

Jeremiah Lubega, who led his fellow pupils and explained how they were trained by their teachers, the process he hopes will help them to do their exams well and complete them on time and he hopes that they will all pass.
