Masaza Cup 2023: Latifah Mixed Director to Steer Kyaggwe Ssaza Organizing Committee

With the 2023/24 Masaza Cup season nears it’s commence, the teams have started to take shape and among those is Kyaggwe Ssaza.

Through the first deputy Chief [Omumyuka wa Ssekiboobo] of Kyaggwe Ssaza, Owek. Matovu David Kato, the county has announced the new organizing committee that will see Kyaggwe achieving big in the forthcoming Masaza Cup season.

The Director, Latifah Mixed High School, Mr. Wilberforce Sserugo was announced as the chairperson of the committee and with be deputized by two officials at the committee of 25 members.

The executive committee have, Mr. Wilberforce Sserugo as the chairperson, Kitooke Steven as vice chairperson administration,Tusasirwe Dias the vice chairperson technical and Julius Greg Kikomeko as the Secretary of the committee.

At this event held on Friday at the offices of the Chief (Ssekiboobo) of Kyaggwe at  Gulu Mukono district, the outgoing committee was also given the certificates of appreciation after finishing at quarter final level last season.

Like the deputy Chief, Matovu David Kato, the newly appointed chairperson Mr. Wilberforce Sserugo asked the Kyaggwe locals to exhibit maximum togetherness if the team is to go far in the tournament.

Kyaggwe is one of the counties that have never lifted the Masaza Cup title since the tournament’s return in 2004.
