Stanbic Uganda Cup: 49th Edition Draws For Buganda Region Held
The preliminary round draws for Buganda region football association held at Royal Monarch hotel Mengo on 22 November 2022 and it has attracted 40 teams who will play each other to fill the 4 slots of Buganda region at the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64.
Buganda region who last season represented by five teams at round of 64, has joined other football regions like Eastern, Kampala to reveal the road map for the preliminary rounds of the one of the prestigious tournaments in the country.
This edition has attracted 40 clubs but those in Buganda region third division league, it’s compulsory for them to feature in the tournament, then joined by the fourth division clubs, 5th division and the none league clubs.
After the draws the fixture has been drawn and the games are expected to kick off on the 30th of November and will be honored along side the the ongoing league.
