Masaza 2022: Mawogola Unveils Kabali As Head Coach
Mawogola Ssaza Football Team management committee on Sunday 29th, May 2022 unveiled Michael Kabali as the Ssaza head coach for the 2022 Buganda Masaza Cup.
The unveiling ceremony was held at Mawogola Ssaza headquarters.
The CAF C tactician replaced Jamadah Magaasi who was in charge of the Ssaza team in 2021
“I am very thankful to the Ssaza officials who have put trust in us and all we promise is that we are not here to participate but competing is our target”. Stated Kabali
Talking about the group where they (Mawogola) pitted in group B which has Buddu, Ssingo, Buluuli, Kyadondo and Buvuma, Kabali called on Mawogola People and well-wishers to support them and the rest will be history.
“To be the best team you have to defeat good teams. We know the route ahead of us and we are more ready to put up a fight and see that we progress to knockout and then plan for the next”.
In presence was Muteesa of Mawogola, Ssalongo Muhammed Sserwadda, Ssaza management committee Chairperson, Kizito Ssenfuka aka Jozito, team Manager, Katerega Uthman and other committee members.
“We glad to inform the People of Mawogola and well-wishers that the technical team unveiled have all the qualification and quality to give us victory”.
“This is my first time that I have been appointed as the chairperson of Mawogola Ssaza Football Team management committee but I want together with my committee members to write another history”. Said Ssenfuka.
Michael Kabali comes with a vast experience in Buganda Masaza cup having worked with Ssingo in the days of Shafick Bisaso before taking over as head coach in 2020 as the Ssaza and 2021 as an assistant coach to Kyaggwe Ssaza.
Kabali will assisted by former Express FC captain, Steven Luswaata Lusolo, Patrick Ojambo as goalkeeping coach, Ssempa Sulaiman and Aminu Musoke.
Mawogola was drawn in group B alongside defending champions Buddu, Ssingo, Buluuli, Kyadondo and Buvuma.
