2023/24 SUPL: Busoga United Visits Desperate Wakiso Giants

0

With only one win in the 10 games, Wakiso Giants are desperate of winning the second game this season as they host unpredictable Busoga United this afternoon at Kabaka Kyabagu Stadium in Wakiso.

Its hard to know when Busoga United will win or lose a game however, they haven’t been good visitors as they have lost two previous away games.

The Purple Sharks came two times from behind to share spoils with Arua Hill in a 2-all draw in their last league game however, they lost 3-0 to BUL FC in their last home game and they’re yet to win a game at home

Busoga United were held by Maroons in 1-1 draw in their last game but lost 2-0 to SC Villa in their last away league game.

The Eastern club have registered some shocking results this season like when they came from a goal down to beat KCCA FC 2-1 in Njeru and they hope to carry the same spirit this afternoon.

John Luyinda the head coach of Wakiso Giants, made it clear that they need nothing but three points this afternoon.

“We have been well but failing to get positive results. We have really worked hard to get maximum points against Busoga United, its high time we use home advantage and win a game.” Said desperate John Luyinda

Wakiso Giants comes into this game sitting in the relegation zone with 7 points and negative 5 goals, but a win will see them jump from the red zone to 13th position.

Any goal margin victory for Busoga United this afternoon will see them go to 10th position with 13 points however, they will need a 5-0 win to go 9th or 10-0 win to go to 7th position which looks impossible.
