2021 U17 AFCON Qualifiers: Uganda U17 Players, Officials Undergo Mandatory COVID-19 Testing
Uganda U17 National Start Preparations
As it is mandated to any sports team, person to undergo a COVID-19 test before getting involved in any sporting activity, Uganda U17 (Cubs) National Team has on Wednesday 4th, November been tested.
The mandatory testing was done at Islamic University in Uganda (I.UI.U) Kabojja where all the Fifty Six players and Officials were tested.
The team is expected to move for a residential camp at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru on Friday 6th, November after receiving the results.
U17 Regional defending champions, Uganda (Cubs) will square off against Ethiopia and neighbors Kenya in group B.
Host Rwanda will meet opponents Eritrea and South Sudan in group A.
In group C Djibouti and Tanzania joins Sudan.
U17 competition will be played from December 13 – December 28 in Rwanda.
The best two performing teams will qualify to represent the Zone at the 2021 U17 AFCON finals.
