Masaza Cup: Bainamani Retains Top Seat as Buganda Kingdom Minister Reveals New Rules Review Committee

As the next edition of Masaza cup highly waited, the preparation has already kicked off and on Monday 3rd, April 2023, Minister for Sports, Leisure and Recreation in the Buganda Kingdom revealed the rules committee.

The Committee has been there before since 2018 and the chairperson, Mr. Bernard Bainamani retained his seat like it was to his deputy Haruna Kyobe.

While announcing this Committee on Monday at Bulange Mengo, Owek. Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu mandated them to back look into the previous season and compare the rules before updating them for the new season.

The assignment came with immediate effect and shall get climaxed in two weeks time.

The committee announced by Buganda Sports Minister Henry Ssekabembe with new members in Lutaaya Joseph and Gladys Zawedde replacing Frank Kyazze and Ruth Nalwanga. 

“I here by announcing the rules review committee, and they have only two week to review the 2023 and come up with amendments which can improve Masaza cup competitions in different aspects, I assign the committee to work upon with the Organizing committee” says the Minister.
