KACITA Encourages Ladies To Have Loans to Ease their Business Expansion

Kampala City Traders Association ( KACITA) together with their partners have organized financial literacy work shop at hotel Africana on how women should promote  their businesses to the next level as far as development is concerned.

Chairman KACITA Thadius Musoke while addressing media after the workshop day one on Wednesday, 15th June 2022 asserted that; As leader we are going to work tirelessly to senstize all people more especially ladies across the country about business literacy and this workshop will be organized every year in order to enable different kind of people both in urban and rural areas to benefit.”

Chairperson Uganda Women in Trade and Manufacturing madam Jacqueline Bigirwa Nuwamanya in the same workshop she gave advise to fellow women to know that challenges are part of life and no one can win with out obstacles.

“It is also a great opportunity for ladies to come up in this world of competition.”

Guest of honor presidential adviser on trade and industries and former minister for trade and industries honorable Amelia Kyambade said that Ugandans spent a lot of time on social media instead of focusing on business issues.

“People should use the same phones to deprive their own businesses for exmple making more research on the internet.” She said

Also added that ladies should be strong to an extent that they don’t allow any person to stop them from getting started as far as business is concerned since tomorrow someone might be totally a different person.
