USSSA Mukono District Qualifiers: Wanyama,Mwebe on Hat-trick as St Julian Makes it to Round of Sixteen
USSSA Mukono District Qualifiers Group F results:
Namasumbi SS Kyabakadde 1-1 St Johns High School Kauga

St Julian High School 1-0 St Johns High School
Namasumbi SS 0-4 St Julian High School Kauga
St Francis Borgia 1-5 St Julian High School Kauga
St John’s High School Kauga 5-0 St Francis Borgia
Simon Wanyama and Disan Mwebe impressed while their side, St Julian High School propel to the round of sixteen of the USSSA Mukono District Qualifiers.
The Felix Ssekabuuza coached side qualifed to round of sixteen after winning all three of their group stage games and topped the table with nine points.
St Julian High School first group game was against St Francis Borgia to whom they beat 5-1, in this game, Simon Wanyama appeared on the score sheet three times to move his goal scoring tally to seven goals in these qualifiers, the other goal was scored by James Ssekate.
Their second game was against the rivals, St Johns High School Kauga and they edged it by a goal to none,the only goal was scored by defender, Tom Sesaazi.
In their last group stage game, the Seeta based school thumped Namasumbi SS from Kyabakadde and in this game, Disan Mwebe also scored hat-trick and the last goal was converted by Eric Isabirye.
St Julian propelled to round of sixteen with 9 points and St John’s High School Kauga progressed with four points.
The other groups were also honored on Saturday apart from group B whose games will be played on Sunday.
Again, the round of sixteen will be played in group format and will be honored on weekend at four different playgrounds.
Mukono District will qualify eight teams to zonal level.
