UPL: URA FC Reveals Captains for this Season

After three games inside the league, URA FC have confirmed their captains for the 2023/24 season.

The tax collectors will be captained by defender Enock Walusimbi, goalkeeper Denis Otim and Saidi Kyeyune will be his assistants.

Walusimbi takes the role from goalkeeper Nafian Alionzi who left the club to join Ethiopia recently.

He captained Express FC as the Red Eagles lifted UPL and CECAFA titles in the 2020/21 season.

The versatile defender Walusimbi had captained URA FC twice this season against Soltilo Bright Stars FC and Gaddafi FC before he was named the official captain of the team.

Walusimbi has leadership experience having captained the Kobs (Uganda U23 Men’s National Team), Express FC and Soltilo Bright Stars.

This season, URA FC lost to BUL FC in the final of FUFA Super 8 and in the league, they’re still unbeaten, They have won once and drawn twice.
