UPL: No Win On Day Two Of Matchday One, All Games End In Stalemate

No Club on day two of match day one of Uganda Premier league as all the three games played on Friday 04,12,2020 at different venues end in stalemate.

Wakiso Giants FC, the side that has just unveiled new shirt sponsor in Ward wizard, at Lugogo held the Cops at a goalless draw after full-time.

Like in any other stalemate fixtures, even in this game at empty Stadium (Lugogo), a number of created chances were wasted. But the biggest highlight was seeing Cranes International midfielder and Police FC captain, Tony Mawejje on his UPL debut limping off before half time.

Little did they know that Nicolas Kabonge came with a goal in his legs before leaving Villa Park, the boy brilliantly leveled the score board with 78th strike.

From the Milk land at Kakyeka, the Tax collectors first got a lead via last season’s top scorer, Steven Mukyala just 30 minutes into first stanza.

Until nine minutes to final whistle it’s when URA FC got to understand that they will only go with only one point not three as they thought.

The Masaza boy Jude Ssemugabi in the 81St minute, scored for Mbarara City FC at least to secure a point.

Statistically so far nine goals are scored in four already played games.
