Netball Super League Returns This Weekend with Three Fixtures, M/Life Sport in Search for Maiden Win
Six clubs will be in action this weekend at Kamwokya Community Sports Centre as the Uganda Netball Super League return in action for the second week.
The 2022/23 season of women’s league threw off over the weekend with two fixtures on card, and we saw, UCU Netball Club welcoming Mutelx/Life Sport in the league with a 44-24 win while Africa Renewal University Netball club beating the 1998 league champions Posta Uganda.
On Saturday, the league will resume with three fixtures where newcomer and second division champion, Busia Greater Lions will be visiting Ugx- Luweero at 10am local time, Mutelx/Life Sport who are searching for their maiden win in the league at noon will be playing Posta Uganda Netball Club and the last fixture of the day, Busia Greater Lions will be in action with UCU.
In their opening fixture, Mutelx/Life Sport Netball Club had no their creative midcourt player in Fildauce Namulema but according to news from the club, the intelligent speedy Fildauce will be available for selection on Saturday.

This season, the organizing committee of the league started to press costs for any fan to watch the games and this weekend, the entrance fee to watch the all three games is at 5000/- and the tickets are at the gate.
This is the first time in history of netball for the league games to be paid for.
Though, it’s the committee that is collecting the money, the 80% of the gate collection goes to the hosting clubs and 20% to the federation.
That’s to say, the gate collection from weekend games, 80% will go to Posta Uganda, Busia Greater Lions and Ugx-Luweero.
