Netball: Greater Mpigi Reveals Executive Committee

The Greater Mpigi that comprises of four districts, in their first meeting held on 02nd September, 2021, they elected the executive committee of seven who will govern the game of Netball in the region.

The Executive Committee of seven is to be chaired by Kyeyune John Bosco, representative from Mpigi District and he will be deputized by two greater individuals in the game of netball. Former Uganda Netball Federation General Secretary, Annet Kisomose was elected as the Vice Chairperson Technical and Bro. Kizito John is the Vice Chairperson Administration.

Agnes Tumwesiga is the general Secretary.

The meeting also resolved that, the working committees shall be fully formed when all districts have fully elected their executive committees among whom shall have members to fill the working committees.

Greater Mpigi (zone 13) becomes the second zone among the 19 zones that form Netball Federation in Uganda, they come after Greater Masaka that revealed their executive as well as working Committees.

This zone has four districts, that is; Mpigi, Gomba, Wakiso and Butambala district.
