MOMO Gift Hub Netball Gala Returns for Bigger Second Edition in Buloba
Netball excitement is building ahead of the second edition of the MOMO Gift Hub Netball Gala, scheduled for April 17, 2026, at Buloba Business Technical and Vocational Institute.
Organized by Moreen Nakyobe, the gala aims to bring together schools and teams from across the region in a celebration of talent, unity, and sportsmanship. The event continues to grow in stature, with matches set to be broadcast on Moon TV, offering players a wider platform to showcase their abilities.
Teams interested in participating will be required to pay a registration fee of UGX 100,000, with organizers promising a competitive and well-organized tournament experience.
At stake are several prizes, including a cash reward of UGX 500,000, a trophy, and gold medals for top performers. Other prizes include a goat and silver medals, as well as team bibs and bronze medals for lower-placed teams.
Beyond competition, the gala is positioned as a community-centered event, fostering interaction and development within the sport. Organizers have also confirmed that meals will be provided for players and one official per team.
Following the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s tournament is expected to attract even more participants, further cementing its place on the local netball calendar.
Registration remains open, with teams encouraged to confirm participation early ahead of the much-anticipated showdown in Buloba.
