Masaza Cup 2021: Kyaggwe Gets Financial Boost, Ssekiboobo Calls for More Support

The Director of Agape Christian Secondary School Mukono with his base in USA, Hodge Nsubuga paid a courtesy visit to Kyaggwe Ssaza camp at Rays of Grace Academy and extended his financial support towards the team’s preparations for Masaza Cup 2021 edition.

Nsubuga who was led by Kyaggwe Ssaza Ssekiboobo, Elijah Bogere, yesterday they visited the camp and found it in good shape, the director donated two million shillings towards the team’s preparations and pledged to look for more donors from his residential country [USA] such that the team doesn’t lack especially in terms of equipment.

“I have decided to come and support this team due to much love I have for my Kingdom, Buganda and the love for my Ssaza.” Nsubuga said before adding..” I have no doubt, this trophy is ours, the team is good, i pledge to get friends abroad who can support the team such that it doesn’t lack especially in terms of equipment, I promise, that’s what I can do for the team.”

The 30th Ssekiboobo of Kyaggwe Ssaza, Elijah Bogere who guided Nsubuga to the camp, thanked the team manager, Roberts Kiwanuka for organizing a team, Ssekiboobo found the team in good health which tempted him to believe that the 2021 title belongs to them.

“I thank team Manager, Mr. Roberts Kiwanuka, I found the team in good shape and I believe the title is ours. However, I call upon more Banakyaggwe to come and financially support the team. If we really want to win this title, we need to come together and support our own team.

As the 30th Ssekiboobo, it will be a big stone added on my file of leadership as the first Ssekiboobo to lift the maiden Masaza trophy for Kyaggwe.”

Kyaggwe was pitted in Bulange Group with ‘money spenders’ Busiro, neighbors Bugerere, and Buvuma.

Felix Ssekabuuza, the current Kyaggwe Ssaza tactician revealed that they tried to recruit the players they wanted and believe this time round they will win games and get out of the group.

This group arrives at FUFA Technical Center Njeru on 8th December and their games kick off the following day.
