Kawempe Muslim Unveil New Season Kit, Tour Shirt Sponsor Premises

The Women’s top-flight league record champions, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, in conjunction with their kit sponsor, Krystal Water International Limited, have unveiled new jerseys ahead of the 2026 CECAFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers in Kigali, Rwanda, and the 2026/27 Finance Trust Women Super League season.
The unveiling marks another milestone in the partnership between Krystal Water and Kawempe Muslim Ladies, which began in 2023 with a focus on promoting women’s football development, youth empowerment and community growth.
The new kits will be worn by the club during their continental campaign as Kawempe Muslim Ladies seek to make a strong impression after a successful period that saw them win the Finance Trust Women Super League title and claim a bronze medal at the 2025 CECAFA Championship.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, Krystal Water Commercial Director Mahmoud Seblini said the partnership with Kawempe Muslim Ladies goes beyond traditional sponsorship.
“Our partnership with Kawempe Muslim Ladies goes beyond sponsorship. It is about empowering young talent in sports, nurturing talent and giving back to the Kawempe community. We are proud to support the team as they represent Uganda at the CAF Games and remain committed to standing with them throughout their journey,” Seblini said.
He added that the company’s support is aimed at motivating the players and technical team while inspiring the next generation of young women to embrace football.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies CEO Hamza Waiswa said attracting a major brand such as Krystal Water, a brand of Hariss International, reflects the club’s efforts both on and off the pitch.
“It’s a very big initiative that comes with efforts from the club. Because whatever we do must attract big brands. Having a big brand like Hariss International means that you do a lot on and off the pitch,” Waiswa said.
Kawempe Muslim Ladies head into the CECAFA qualifiers with confidence following their recent successes, including their Finance Trust Women Super League triumph and third-place finish at the 2025 CECAFA Championship.
The Ugandan side will compete in Group B of the CECAFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers alongside Central Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) Women FC and UJECO of Djibouti.
Krystal Water has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting sporting talent and initiatives that create opportunities for young athletes, particularly women, to develop and thrive through football.
