Futsal Season Finally Climaxes, Park FC Crowned Champions

Finally the 2020/21 season of Futsal Super League reach on climax and Park Futsal Club crowned the champions after beating Big Talent FC, 3-0 on final held at Futsal Arena at Old Kampala.
The 27th day of August 2021 will always be remembered as a day Park Futsal club won the Futsal Super League for 2020/21 Season.
Skipper, Iddi Babu first gave the champions a lead before the halftime break. Though the second half came in late due to heavy downpour, this couldn’t deny Kalyango Sam to double the lead for Park to start gaining more hope of putting their hands on the prestigious trophy that was before them.
Big talent Fc looked frustrated after conceding the second goal. While still wondering, Kalyango Sam bounced back to complete his brace and the third for his side.
After the game, Big Talent Fc captain Wabyona Faisal reacted to their performance
“it was our First time to play the league so we got the experience and it was God’s plan for Park to win the trophy and now we turn our focus on the Uganda Cup next week and we want to win it” Faisal Wabyona, Big Talent skipper with a consolation comment after the loss.
Park Futsal club Captain Iddi Babu also had a comment after the game.
“Am very happy that we have won the league that we have been hunting for the past five years, we didn’t start well in the group stages but it gave us a lesson and we revised our mistakes and made the reshuffle which helped us to win the next games and now we are ready to win the Uganda Cup”
Ssegawa Alex the Head coach of Park Futsal club was happy to win the league. “We have been waiting for this day, we were leading the table with unbeaten run, unfortunately Fufa halted the league due to Covid-19 but stayed focused”
“We played a good and youthful team but tactically we were the best team so we deserved the results.” Said Ssegawa.
