Cycling: Aziz Ssempijja Crowned Champion as 16 Year Old Boy Produces Surprise Performance in Munyonyo Race

The managing director of Together We Can Cycling Uganda Limited Ssebakaaki Solomon on Sunday climaxed Muyonyo Cycling Race in Vibe.

The defending champion of the race Aziz Ssempijja has made it consistently to win the race in Muyonyo.

In this case 16 year old boy in names of Miilo Paul from Tropical Heat Academy has come up with a surprise performance to his fans after being the 2nd in the race after Aziz.

Miilo Paul used 2:10:48:22 to be in second place and Aziz Ssempijja used only 2:10: 46:19 for him to win the race.

90 kilometers was covered by the cyclists and the winner received 500,000 which was given to Young star Miilo Paul though he was in second place but due to his age was considered as the winner and Aziz received 300,000.

Over 70 cyclists participated in the Race.
This started way back in 2018.

Miilo Paul said that “I am happy to compete in this race where there’s experienced cyclists and in future through my managers I will perform better particularly in competitive Race within and outside Uganda. So government should intervene in our sport”.

The managing director Mr said that ” today’s event we got a challenge of bodabodas who follow these cyclists on the way they may cause an accidents on road , therefore in this regard all bodabodas now they’re suspended from today on wards . This intended to create space for cyclists for good environment in the world of cycling”.
