CAF Women’s CLQ: Meeting of the Champions, Express’ Tactician Wasswa Bbosa Morale Boosts Doves Camp

The 2021 CECAFA Kagame Cup Winning tactician, Omulongo Wasswa Bbosa paid a courtesy visit to Lady Doves FC camp at Uganda Martyrs Lubaga High School on Saturday.

The believers are in final touches ahead of the CAF Women’s Champions League zonal qualifiers to be held at Kasarani and Nyayo Stadiums in Kenya.

Express FC won the 2021 CECAFA Kagame Cup held in Tanzania this month, this means the tactician is very fresh with the region experience and is the best person to visit the Doves camp at this moment.

Bbosa encouraged the girls to be confident ahead of the tournament and they only thing they need to have in common is self belief because they are Champions of the nation.

“When you believe in yourself nothing can fail, as Express we were considered as under dogs of the tournament but it’s believe that gave us the trophy.” Wasswa Bbosa gave testimony to listening girls.

“No weak team can win the league, by winning the FUFA Women’s Super League, it means you are strong enough to win the tournament in Kenya and the only catalyst is to believe that you can do it.” He added.

Since he came very early before the morning training session, the living hero had to comment this on the players’ fitness.

“I have watched your training and players available, you have what it takes to win the tournament. You have been training for long time I can see you are fit and you have a better technical bench that can produce results.” Bbosa revealed.

The Express FC tactician says, Lady Doves is no longer representing their flag but the Ugandan flag and they need to have it in their minds that they are lifting the Uganda’s flag.

“You nolonger representing lady Doves budge only but rather the nation…..we shall be behind you and go make us proud.

What I have realised in just concluded CECAFA tournament in Tanzania is that no nation in East and Central Africa that has talented footballers like Uganda.”

The Qualifier tourney commences on Saturday 28th August 2021 at Nyayo stadium, and Lady Doves will be playing against FAD in their opener.

Lady Doves is in Group A with Simba Queens, FAD FC and PVP FC
