Big League: Can Police ‘arrests’ Ndejje University Students Like they Did to Bobi Wine at Entebbe?

The BetPawa Big League resumes today with one game on match day three as Ndejje University visits Police FC at Kavumba Recreation Ground.

Police FC seek to extend their winning streak after winning two opening games. They defeated Young Elephant 2-1 in the opening game before they narrowly edged Jinja North United 1-0 thanks to Denis Kalanzi’s lone strike.

Ndejje are winless in their two opening games, they lost 4-3 to Karo Karungi and 3-0 to Lugazi FC and they’ll be hoping to grab their first point(s) today against Police FC.

Last season, the two meetings between Police FC and Ndejje University ended in 1-1 draw at home and away.

Simon Peter Mugerwa believes that Ndejje will come strong but they must beat them to keep winning games and gain promotion.

“After winning the previous game against Jinja North, we embarked on correcting our mistakes which we have managed and waiting to face the opponents. Ndejje will do their best to at least get their first point of the season but we are very ready to overcome them.” Started Mugerwa.

The gaffer also talked about making it to super league next season.

“We really take every game as a final and its the only way we can win each game and gain promotion because, our only target is to play in top flight next season.” Confirmed Mugerwa.

A win for Police FC, will take them to 1st position with 9 points to jump Calvary who are currently the table leaders while a win for Ndejje will help them jump off from relegation zone.
