Beach Soccer: MUBS Beach Soccer Team Off To Malindi For Invitation Tourney
2021 Malindi Invitational Beach Soccer Tournament
Date: Wednesday 8th – Sunday 12th, December
Makerere Business School Beach Soccer Team has on Monday 6th, December departed to Mombasa, Kenya for the 2021 Malindi Invitational Beach soccer Tournament.
The send off ceremony was held at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
Makerere University Business School Beach Soccer Team Chief Executive officer, Hillary Kimbugwe attended the ceremony.
“We are so privileged for having been invited for the Malindi open beach soccer championship, we at MUBS are very happy for having this international exposure. We hope to show great skill while in Malindi because Uganda is East African champions we are going to show it in this invitation”. Said Hillary Kimbugwe, the CEO of the club.
“We want to thank Uganda Beach Soccer Association for having given us the chance while the invitation was extended and given to MUBS to be the representative and we promise, we shall not fail you because we have great team”. Added Hillary
MUBS heads in the tournament with four national team players. Ismail Kawawulo, Roch Somoka, Davis Elvis Kasujja and Swalley.
MUBS has been camping in Njeru since Saturday 4th, December 2021.
