Fortebet Real Stars Monthly Awards: Trust in Yourself, Halima Nakaayi Tells Athletes as She Lifts March’s Accolade

The Uganda’s middle distance runner and the 2022 World Indoor Championship bronze medalist, Halima Nakaayi advised Athletes always to believe in themselves because anything is possible.

For the first time in Uganda’s Athletics history, they sent representatives to Indoor Championship they have never done before and Nakaayi became the first Ugandan to win a medal in the event held in Belgrade Serbia that was held in March.

With such performance posted at the international scene, Nakaayi managed to beat her competitors in the race in the Fortebet Real Stars monthly awards held every first Tuesday of the month.

The iron lady beat men in the race, Joshua Cheptegei and Andrew Kwemoi.

So as Athletes we don’t need to belittle ourselves, we only need to have confidence and trust in ourselves. “

This month, there were six categories, and Ponsiano Rwakataka won the award of the best motorsport personality of the month of March and revealed why he returned back in the race.

“We are happy as team Rwakataka to stand before you, applaud to Fortebet, it looks to be something small but it’s a huge motivation to us, I came back in race to prove to these boys, on social media that I still have it and I am a class above, I am not of shortcut like they say but a pure driver.
