Masaza Cup: Kiwanuka Sulaiman Promises To Invest More Dollars in Kyaggwe Come Next Edition
The big money spender in the just concluded Masaza Cup Edition where Buddu Sazza crowded champions after beating Buwekula 2-0 on final held yesterday at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende, Kiwanuka Sulaiman promised to injected more cash in Masaza especially in Kyaggwe Sazza.
The Nakifuma County Originated businessman and a sports fanatic accepted that he came late in the 2021 edition and invested less compared to what he wanted but come 18th edition, he is set to put in more especially in Kyaggwe because he wants it also to win the prestigious Football Tournament in the country.
“I have been among those who have put money in this edition, while buying goals scored in Dollars because it’s one of the things that motivates players and put vibe in the tournament. ” Said Kiwanuka Sulaiman who gave $200 to Buddu Sazza for the two goals they scored on final.
“I came in late this edition for some reasons, and have put in not enough compared to what I wanted but next season am set and I want to invest in much especially on Kyaggwe.
“I also want to see Kyaggwe Winning this title, there are players am in touch with, we shall sit with the Sazza leaders to see how we can work on this such that we also compete, because it’s God who decides the winner but we also need to play out part. ” Kiwanuka Sulaiman.
In Kyaggwe alone, Kiwanuka injected in over $1900 and the $200 he put in Buddu.
The Masaza Cup Organizing Committee chairman, Hajji Sulaiman Ssejengo revealed that the 2022 edition will soon kick off and they are working on all the necessary things to see that they start.
He added that this edition, Masaza going back to play from their home grounds since the government lifted the lockdown.
