Pilsner Monthly Awards: University League Graduate Titus Ssematimba in contest Against Tax Collectors

The 2019 Pepsi University Football League silver medalist, and former St Lawrence University midfielder Titus Ssematimba in race with Uganda Revenue Authority FC duo for Pilsner Lager November player award.

The Wakiso Giants FC midfielder, Titus Ssematimba is in contest against Cromwell Rwothomio and Steven Desse Mukwala of URA FC.

In the month of November, Ssematimba has been a strong Pilar in Purple Sharks’ performance, the midfielder got involved in five goals, him alone scoring four times.

Ssematimba scored a brace against 16-time league champions SC Villa and repeated the feat against Tooro United.

The youngster is currently the second-highest scorer in the league only one striker behind leading goal scorers Davis Kasirye and Steven Mukwala.

The coaches’ race has Vipers’ SC tactician Robertonho Olievera, Morley Byekwaso of KCCA FC and Alex Gitta of Wakiso Giants.

The KCCA FC duo of tactician, Morley Byekwaso and Davis Kasirye won the October Awards. 

The awarding ceremony will be held next week and the winners, each will walk away with cash prize of one million.
