Finally Villa in FUFA’s ‘Armpits’, FA Accepts to Organize Jogoo’s Elections
All this was confirmed in a letter sent to Villa CEO Shawn Mubiru by FUFA.
“FEC has consequently named Mr. Joram Katende (Member FUFA EC) and Rev. Father Kimbowa who both accepted and further FEC has also accepted all the three names proposed by the SC Villa Congress to comprise the Electoral Committee to organise the Club elections hereafter referred to as the Villa Electoral Committee (VEC). Part of the letter reads.
“Aware that the FEC has the mandate to organize elections of members of FUFA, the FEC hereby delegates its mandate to the VEC and the scope of the mandate is limited to the election of the Sports Club Villa President, Executive Board and the cited members of the Sports Club Villa Congress in accordance with he Sports Club Villa Statutes and by the 23rd October 2021.” letter continues to read.
Now the new Villa Electoral Committee comprises of Walukagga Isaac (Chairperson), Joram Katende (Secretary), Kavuma Ssekidde (Member), Adong Sharon (member), and Rev. Father Kimbowa.
Denis Mbidde and Medard Lubega Ssegona are the two who are still in the race for Villa presidency.
