Women Football: Doves Give up on Nakaziro, Switches to Daphine Nyayenga

After Daisy Nakaziro and Nakigonzi Elizabeth said goodbye to Lady Doves camp at Kasenge that is getting ready for CAF Women’s Champions League zonal qualifiers, the said switched focus to Uganda Martyrs WFC custodian, Daphine Nyayenga.

In contact with the Lady Doves FC boss, Julius Mugisa, he told this website that they failed with settling with Daisy Nakaziro, so they switched focus to Uganda Martyrs’ goalie Daphine Nyayenga and he asserted that the negotiations are done.

Uganda Martyrs’ HS did okay us to contact the player and proceed to negotiate with her on personal terms.

I am glad that today Lady Doves and Daphine Nyayenga agreed to work together and terms of engagement have been agreed upon. She will be joining our club in the nearest future.

About Daisy Nakaziro’s case, Mugisa said that the doors for Lady Doves are still open for her but she should be ready for Competition because Daphine is equally good like her.
