USSSA Ball Games II Netball: Kaduggala, Namagabi and Kyantamba stamp authority on Day Two in Gulu

Greater Masaka champions Kaduggala SS, Kayunga district champions Namagabi SS, and Luweero region champions Kyantamba SS underlined their FEASSA qualification ambitions with commanding victories as Day Two of the 2026 USSSA Ball Games II Netball Championship climaxed at Gulu High School in Gulu City on Saturday.

Fresh from conquering the Greater Masaka region, Kaduggala SS produced one of the biggest wins of the day, crushing St Mary’s College Rushoroza 50-2 to remain among the standout teams in the championship.

Namagabi SS, the Kayunga district champions, continued their impressive form with two dominant performances, defeating Bwikya Muslim 22-12 before overpowering the hosts Sacred Heart 55-9, underlining their credentials as serious competitor.

Luweero region champions Kyantamba SS also maintained their unbeaten run after overcoming Kasana Vocational 31-22 in another convincing display.

Defending champions Buddo SS, winners of the 2025 USSSA Ball Games II Netball Championship, also remained on course after comfortably defeating Trinity Catholic 29-11.

The group stage action will continue on Sunday as schools battle for places in the knockout rounds.
