Kampala: Crown Beverages Limited under the brand, Pepsi cola, have announced a mega million (Ugx700M) UEFA Champions League promotion campaign dubbed “Drink like a Champion”.
The campaign that going to run for 90 days (three months) will see the company customers winning up-to five million shillings cash every week and other prizes as they celebrate the ongoing UEFA Champions League season that has reached the knockout stage.
While launching this year’s amazing campaign on Monday, 15th March 2021 at the company’s plant at Kyambogo-Kampala, Crown Beverages Limited, Head of Marketing, Timothy Luzinda revealed that each of their customers who will buy either 300ML or 500ML returnable glass and PET bottle respectively, stands a chance of winning in prize in campaign, including instant prizes.
“Upon buying a 300ML returnable glass Pepsi bottle and the 500ml PET bottle, customers shall stand a chance of winning lots prizes including instant cash, radios, T-shirts, string bags, balls, Jersey tops,sodas” said Luzinda.
Allen Ssempa, the company’s Corporate Communication Manager explained how their customers will win through drinking Pepsi.
“We decided to give back to our customers through this rewarding campaign, all you have to do is to buy a 300ml and 500ML bottle, open and check under the crown, whatever you find there is what you win and you can redeem this prize at any deport that is in your neighborhood, or a track you may see going by your neighborhood.” Ssempa said before adding. “You can also save up you crowns in case you get a letter, you can save them until you make up a word that makes up the name of the stars that we are working with this season, that is Messi, Pogba and Sancho, you can instantly win a 50000/-,and this is going to be on for the next three months.”
Pepsi have been the sponsors of UEFA Champions League since 2015, and the 2021 to 2024 they will be partnering with three World football icons, that is Manchester United and French International Midfielder Paul Labile Pogba, Barcelona’s and five time Ballon D’Or winner Leonel Messi and Borssia Dortmund youngster, Jadon Sancho.
The 2020/21 UEFA Champions League campaign climaxes on 29th May 2021 in Turkey at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
