2026 World Cup Qualifiers: FUFA a good Student, Copies CAF Online Ticket Selling

Following the success of the online ticketing system used during the soon to climax 2024 African Nations Championship [CHAN] hosted by Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, FUFA has taken a page out of that playbook.

The Uganda Football Federation (FUFA) has officially released the ticket prices for the upcoming World Cup qualifier match between Uganda and Mozambique and somalia and all tickets shall be bought online like it has been with CHAN.

In a statement released on August 30th, FUFA confirmed that the early bird tickets for the game will be priced at UGX 10,000, while regular tickets will be available for UGX 20,000. All tickets will be sold exclusively online, continuing the trend of digital ticketing introduced during the CHAN tournament.

The highly anticipated match will take place on September 5th at 7:00 PM at Namboole Stadium.

Uganda Cranes will also host Somalia on September 8th, with both matches being part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Currently, Uganda is sitting in fourth place in Group G with 9 points and a victory over Mozambique would elevate their total to 12 points, boosting their chances of securing a spot in the World Cup qualifiers. The Cranes are in a pivotal stage of the competition, and every point counts as they aim to climb the standings.

Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment and support the Uganda Cranes as they continue their quest for qualification.
