Bebeto Bus Company Unveils Football Club, Visions Continental Greatness

With most leagues around the world are in holidays, many companies and individuals who love to join the football industry not as fans but the funders and owners of football clubs.
The one year old but faster growing Transport Company in East Africa, Bebeto Bus Company is the latest entity that has joined football industry in Uganda.

On Sunday at their main terminal in Mengo, Bebeto Bus Services has unveiled a new football club dubbed Bebeto Football Club that is yet to start football activities in Kampala Region.
Lobert Twahirwa, the company CEO revealed to this website as to why they have decided to join football business.

“This has been a dream come true to all of us especially those behind us, our Chairman and directors, Bebeto Coach services started as a team of different countries, Rwandan directors, South South Sudan, Uganda directors, we’re football lovers, and coming up with Bebeto Football club, we want to be part of the football family around the world and even support the youths as a way of CSR.” Says Lobert Twahirwa, CEO.
“In the space of ten years, we want to be at CAF level, we’re just starting, you start something small but grow with time, if we can compete with the bigger teams in future from being just from bus history and to become the CAF champions.” He added.
The pioneer club captain, Julius Mwesige also gave his side why they (players) opted to play for the new club in business.

“As players and youths, we want to have jobs, yes the club is just starting but having a chance to play for such a club, it gives you the opportunity to market yourself and maybe you can get a chance to play for bigger clubs in the country.” Says Julius Mwesige
The club that is under the stewardship of coach Besiime Fauz, Joshua Twahirwa as the club Manager started with tournament games and friendly matches as they grow the team strong.
And on Wednesday this week, they will have a friendly match at Nsambya playground playing against Jonglei United.
