Enduro Motorcross Challenge Launched, Over 80 to Take Part

The Federation of Motorsport in Uganda has launched it’s first 2024 calendar on Thursday 2 May.
The newly elected vice president in charge of Motorbike Arthur Blick was the biggest figure at the event held at FIG TREE in Kansanga.
Blick who was elected on Wednesday 1 May gave confidence to Motorsport enthusiasts that they are to have a great year ahead.
“This is our first event of the calendar, I tell our fan to get ready for a great year, we have a lot of young riders who also giving a hope for great future of Ugandan Motorcycling, the level of competition is to improve and we are looking forward to expand the sport to every part of the country” Blick said at the launch of Enduro challenge slated to take place on Saturday.
The event will take place at Kyakayiga Fort Portal.
“This year, Kyakayiga is an improved truck for the Riders and the fans, fans will not have to change positions while attending the event, they will be at one place to express the entire race”
Enduro Motorcycle race secretary Peter Kigozi confirmed the big turn up for the event.
“This year we have so far registered 80 riders for both genders in their respective racing classes”
The event is scheduled to take place over the weekend with some riders already at the venue and the last arrivals are expected to be there on Friday 3 May 2024.
