Kanjuki Junior End of Academic Year Soccer Gala: 4 Confirm Participation, More Expected

For the first time, Kanjuki Junior School has organised an end of academic year Soccer Gala.

The Inaugural Gala will see Primary Schools gather at Ntenjeru Ssaza Ground, Kayunga, on Friday 1st December 2023 and challenge each other.

The first of its kind will see Schools battle in Under Twelve (U12) and Under Fourteen (U14) categories in 260 and 290 units respectively.

The schools that have already registered are Kanjuki Junior School (hosts), East African Primary School Football Giants, Rays of Grace Junior, Mbikko Junior School and Natetta Church of Uganda Primary School.

According to Basomesa Issa Ntale, the director Kanjuki Junior School, the Gala will be held every year as they close the academic year.

“We have thought of organizing this soccer gala to bring back the love for the beautiful game, football in the minds of our players who have been very busy in third term and so we close the year without neglecting Football lovers”.

“Being the first edition, we may not have many teams, but we hope to expand it such that we have an exciting soccer Gala every year to extend the game to our lovers”.

“Through sports, schools always give back to communities through offering bursaries to talented children who go on to graduate to another level”. Said Basomesa Issa Ntale

Winners of the 2023 Kanjuki Junior School end of year academic Soccer Gala will walk home with Trophies, Medals and individual awards.
