2023 USSSA Qualifiers: Kayunga District Confirm Dates, Venue and Teams To Compete In This Years Championship

Kayunga District Secondary Schools Sports Association will have her calendar for 2023 of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association kick off on Thursday, 16th March 2023, in seven different venues on Zone level.

Twenty Seven (27) Schools have turned up for the zone qualifiers. 

Busaana Zone has Hope Christian School, Busaana SS, Bugerere High School, St Peters Kibuzi and St Mark Secondary School. They will have their matches played at Busaana Sub county playground. The top two Schools will advance to next round.

Bbaale-Kitimbwa zone has been grouped into two groups that group A which Bbaale Secondary School, Galiraya Seed School and Mt Carmel Secondary School Kyerima and their matches will be at Nakyesa Day and Boarding Primary School. 

Group B has Kitimbwa Bright Future Secondary School, Brain Set Secondary School and Kitatya Secondary School. They will face off at Kayonza Church of Uganda Playground.

The top team from each group, Bbaale-Kitimbwa will advance to next round.

Kayunga Central has two groups that is group A which has Namagabi Secondary School, Uganda Martyrs SS Kayunga, Namagabi High School and Kanjuki SS. This group will have their matches played at Bishop Brown Playground.

Group B of Kayunga Central has Kayunga Light  College, Hopeful Future Secondary School, Ndeeba Secondary School and Kingstone College Kayunga. This group will have their group games played at Uganda Martyrs SS Kayunga.

In Nazigo-Kangulumira, Schools like St Mathias Mulumba Kalemba Secondary School, Auto Span School and Musiitwa Seed School will face off in Nazigo zone at St Kalemba grounds.

St Pontiano Ngondwe SS Kangulumira, Kangulumira Public School, Oxford High School, Fountain of Hope School and Victors High School will battle for Kangulumira zone.

Last year, 2022, Kayunga District was represented by Two Schools that St Pontiano Ngondwe Secondary School and Kayunga Light College on National championship which were held at Mvara Secondary School in Arua City.

Ahead of the 2023 USSSA National championship, Kayunga was handed Four (4) slots on Greater Mukono Region which will be hosted by Mukono District. 

Busaana Zone: Hope Christian School, Busaana SS, Bugerere High School, St Peters and St Mark SS

Kayunga Central A: Namagabi SS, Uganda Martyrs SS Kayunga, Namagabi High School and Kanjuki SS

Kayunga Central B: Ndeeba SS, Hopeful Future SS, Kayunga Light College, Kingstone College

Kitimbwa Zone
Group A: Bbaale SS, Galiraya Seed SS, Mt Carmel SS Kyerima

Group B: Kitimbwa Bright Future, Brain Set, Kitatya SS

Nazigo Zone: St Kalemba SS, Auto Span, Musiitwa Seed 

Kangulumira Zone: St Pontiano Ngondwe, Kangulumira Public, Oxford High School, Fountain of Hope, Victors High School.
