Stanbic Uganda Cup: The List of Confirmed 36 Teams from Eight Regions to Round of 64

In the last month of the year 2021, 36 clubs from eight regions that constitute Uganda’s football confirmed their places at round of 64 of the 48th Edition of Stanbic Uganda Cup.

Despite the COVID-19 challenges, over 180 teams from eight regions took part on the preliminary round of the 2021/22 Season.

Kampala Region and Buganda Region Qualifiered the biggest number of teams, 12 due to the fact that they registered the highest number of participants at the preliminary round, Eastern had five, the rest with four each apart from Western Region that Qualifiered only three teams.

It’s not yet confirmed when the round of sixty four draws will be held. That round will have clubs from top flight (Uganda Premier League) and FUFA Big League.

Vipers SC are the reigning Champions, they beat BUL FC 8-1 on final held at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.
