USSSA Ball Games II 2024: Dynamic Hopeful, Namagabi One win away from R16 as St Noa, Buddo enjoy Preliminary stage

The preliminary round of the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association stage nears climax and a number of teams in netball category are fighting for the only sixteen slots available.
The Greater Mukono region representatives, Dynamic SS Sonde, Namagabi SS and St Kalembe SS still have high hopes of making it to the round of six.
Richard Muhumuza owned school, Dynamic SS needs only one win which is against Gombe SS to confirm their slot at round of sixteen. The two Gombe and Dynamic lost against the table leaders, Greenlight Islamic SS and the winner between them will be joining the latter to make it out of the group.
The win registered against Y.Y Okot boosted Julius Ceasor Ssekamatte coached hopes that it’s possible, and he is also much optimistic that their immediate competitor, Gombe can fall on Sunday and make it out of Group C.
“The championship is not bad as of now, out of the seven games we have played, we have six wins and one loss, that came against Greenlight.
Among the remaining two games, Gombe will be at least the tough side but according to how I have prepared my girls and the performance they have displayed in the past games, I believe we shall win that game and get out of the group.” Julius Censor Ssekamatte.
Namagabi SS are almost 95% into the round of sixteen after winning their much needed game against Amazing Grace, the game that ended 25-15. The Lulenzi coached side are remaining with two fixtures including the one against the table leaders Baptist High School.
St Kalembe also Greater Mukono representatives are in better position to top group G while unbeaten.
St Noa Girls who have unleashed a new kit are still enjoying the wins at preliminary round as Buddo, St Mary’s Kitende do in their respective groups.
The preliminary round will climax on Sunday and on Monday, knockout and classification games will commence.
