USSSA 2022: Mukono Kings, St Mary’s Kitende To Face Off in Quarter Opener

St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High Vs Jinja SS – Barifa Stadium (04:00PM)
Mukono Kings High School and St Mary’s Secondary School Kitende will on Wednesday 27th, April morning face off in the first quarter final match of the 2022 USSSA National Post Primaries Boys Football Finals at Green Light Stadium in Arua city.
Mukono District and Greater Mukono Region Champions, Kings defied odds to eliminate Royal Giants in Penalty shoots (9-8) following a barren draw (0-0) on round of sixteen (R16).
Meanwhile, defending Champions, St Mary’s Kitende eliminated London College Nansana by 2-1 score line.
Elsewhere, All time winners, Kibuli Secondary School will battle hosts in Mvara Secondary School in the second quarter final match at the same venue, Green Light Stadium with kick off at 11AM.
Kibuli SS through former Uganda U20 National player, Faizo Wabyoona edged Standard High School Zzana by 1-0 score line.
Hosts, Mvara Secondary School put up an outstanding performance to end Greater Mukono Region representative, Dynamic SS by 3-0.
After lunch, the last two (2) quarter final will be played at Barifa Stadium.
At 2PM, two time winners, Buddo will be in action against Kampala Region Champions, Kawempe Muslim at Barifa Stadium.
Simon Peter Mugerwa coached side, Buddo eliminated Amus College Bukedea by 2-0 in a contest at PTC Core.
Kawempe Muslim Secondary School needed Penalty Shoots to defeat Jinja Progressive Academy by 3-2 in shoots after full time ending in a barren draw (0-0).
In the last quarter final stage, 2017 champions, Jinja Secondary School will be in action against St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School at Barifa Stadium.
St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe ejected St Henry’s College Kitovu by 3-1 at the same venue.
Yashir Mimosa, Oscar Mawa and Toto Manjub scored the Three goals for Gombe to cancel Derrick Kaijja earlier goal.
Semi Finals will be played on Thursday 28th, April 2022.
Winner between St Mary’s Kitende and Mukono Kings High School will face overall winner between Kibuli and Mvara SS.
In another battle for a slot in the final will be between Buddo SS/Kawempe Muslim against Jinja SS/St Andrew Kaggwa Gombe High School.
Finals will be played on Friday 29th, April with kick off at 3PM.
