With almost four years to the next general elections of 2026, the former Nakifuma County Member of Parliament Aspirant, Businessman, Kiwanuka Sulaiman Slowly is entering the hearts of the constituents through his attracting activities on ground.
Kiwanuka also a product of Kimenyedde village in Nakifuma never lost the momentum even when he lost the elections in the 2021 general to National Unity Platform flag bearer, Fred Ssimbwa, the sports man kept going back to people supporting them through different developmental activities not forgetting Sports which is the fulcrum of his projects.
Kiwanuka in one of his speeches to the Nakifuma County residents, revealed that he didn’t get back to them because he mainly want to get to Parliament but he wants his mother County to lack nothing and yet he can do something.

“Few people can afford to get back to electorates when they lost the elections, I didn’t come back to you because you are my people, only that at first you didn’t understand my motives.
I want Nakifuma to be a good place to live, I am a sports man, I want to make Nakifuma Uganda’s Brazil, and I can only do this with you.” Kiwanuka Sulaiman told people.
Nakifuma currently covers five sub-counties of Nagojje, Ntunda, Kimenyedde, Kasawo Rural, Seeta-Namuganga and three town councils of Nakifuma-Naggalama, Kasawo TC and Namataba and according to the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS), the county has a population of about 229,800 people, statistics of 2020.
According to Sulaiman, that population is of Youths who are talented in different aspects, who want to work and that’s why he came up with the program of holding Sports days in different Sub Counties as well as giving the small scale businesses Capital to hype their businesses.

The most recent event came on Sunday, 26th December, (Boxing Day) and it was held at Kimenyedde.
This boxing day event, had a number of activities, from Bicycle race, cross county race (Athletics), dancing, Wresting, netball, boxing and Football and it has collected an expected crowd that left the constituents wondering the love, people has towards Kiwanuka.
“The one we elected has never came back to us, it’s now one year, but this one who lost, is still with us and doing developmental things, and if he keep it up, many will understand him than we used before.
You know at first, alot of trash was spoke against him but we are now seeing something contrary to what they told us, he is a good man.” A resident of Kimenyedde told this website.
In this event, all indivual games winners, from first to fourth place were awarded with cash prize from 200,000/-,150,000,100,000/- and 50,000/- respectively plus certificates.
Athletics,cross-country, Kiggo gumbya, boxing, dancing competions & Bikes.
The Netball winner took 200,000/- and second (Nddwaddemutwe) earned 100,000/-.
The football match one winner (Mayangayanga) won 200,000/- and the loser (Kisoga) took 100,000/-
The main match winner, Kimenyedde Sub County football team won one million shillings cash courtesy of Kiwanuka Sulaiman.
Next event dubbed Ekibiitu Kyemizannyo) slated for 31st December 2021 at Namanoga ground in NAMUGANGA SUBCOUNTY.
