Like it’s his norm every end of year, Kiwanuka Sulaiman again organized the end of the year sports Day Gala in Kasawo Sub County this Saturday.
The sports gala has a number of activities from football, Netball Athletics and other fun games where the winners will be getting prize money ranging from 200,000/- to one million shillings.
All activities will be held on Saturday 18th December, 2021 at Kikuube Playground in Kasawo Sub County and the organizing Committee chaired by coach Usher Owabatto revealed that everything is set to have a successful event. He confirmed this in the meeting held on Wednesday at Annex Gardens, Nalubabwe in Nakifuma and it was chaired by the man himself, Sulaiman Kiwanuka, the Aspiring Member of Parliament for Nakifuma County come 2026.
In his words, Sulaiman Kiwanuka confirmed,
“I have been doing this and the first was in Namataba” Kiwanuka said before adding..”I have my friends, to whom I played with at Spartan FC, others in other clubs, we normally form a team that play against the hosting area, when they win, the walk away with one million shillings cash prize.
We also rehabilitate those grounds because we want to develop the game. So I ask you to join us as we bond, have fun as well as developing the game. ”
According to the program, the events start at 8am, the activities that kicks off the event is Cross county run, Netball Gala at 9am, 100 metre race, then two football matches will be played later at 1PM where Boda Boda Kolola will meet Kigogola Boda and then Kasawo Sub County will play against Spartan FC at 3PM.
The prizes will be in a format that, main football match winners will take one million shillings, netball winner is at 200,000/-, netball runners up will take one hundred thousand shillings, Athletics, the cross County winner takes home 100,000/- and the second go with 50,000/-.
The 100m winner to grab 100,000/-.
The winners will also have Medals.
