Pepsi UFL: Uniform Scoreline as Kampala University Registers Second Home Consecutive Victory
The two-time University Football League Champions, Kampala University registered their second home consecutive victory when they beat Uganda Martyrs University 2-1 in the encounter enjoyed at Kibuli Dem playground on Tuesday afternoon.
A bit unique but factual, Kampala University registered a uniform scoreline against the 2017 champions, Uganda Martyrs University like they did against Ndejje University in their maiden home fixture in the 10th edition of University Football League.
Today, the beach boys beat UMU 2-1 like they did against Ndejje University and in both games we saw KU gaining two penalties and were all converted.
The defensive and hardworking midfielder, the skipper Tumusiime Richard handed Kateregga’s boys with a powerful header as early as 12 minutes into first stanza but Tumusiime Henry levelled the matters, two minutes into second stanza.
After ten minutes, Kampala University received a penalty which was calmly converted by Mayanja Said in the 57th minute of the game like he did it in the 90th minute against Ndejje University.
After three games, Kampala University moved to top of the table now with six points and remained with one home game.

Uganda Martyrs University lost a second game of the season and now at the bottom of the group with three points.
The action resumes on Thursday when Islamic University in Uganda will host Bugema University in Mbale.
