KCCA FC: “This Club has an Incredible Fan Base – Katenga on His Contract Extension

Katenge Etiene Openga has officially extended his contract with Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA FC), as confirmed by a statement on the club’s social media platforms.

The midfielder has signed a two-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2027, following the expiration of his previous contract in 2025.

Etiene, a former Saurimo player, becomes the fourth player to renew his contract at KCCA FC. He joins Gabriel, Filbert Obenchan, and Umar Lutalo, who have also committed their futures to the club.

Upon renewing his contract, Etiene expressed his happiness and excitement about continuing his journey with the club. Speaking to the official KCCA FC website, he said,

“I am very happy to continue my journey with KCCA FC. This club has a great history and an incredible fan base. I feel at home here, and I am excited to keep working hard with my teammates to contribute to the team’s objectives. We have big goals, and I am ready to do my part to achieve the team’s objectives.”

In a season of 2024-2025 ,Etienne managed to score two goals and his effort in the midfield will be vital for the club this season if they are to win any trophy for the season
