Bika By’Abaganda Football: High Goal Scoring Day as Njovu, Butiko Propel to Round Two

The 49th edition of the Bika By’Abaganda football continued on Tuesday with the preliminary round encounters held at different Grounds.

For starters, the season started with a 3-1 victory for Ngabi Nsamba against Nkima at Muteesa II Stadium Wankulukuku and the high scoring rate continued even in the first preliminary round encounters.

Two games were played on Tuesday, Njovu found no hurdle in eliminating Nkula with a 5-2 scoreline at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso. 

Uthman Kakembo netted thrice for Njovu, Shaka Ssozi, and Seif Batte were also on target for the side while Nkula’s goals came from Muyomba James.

Obutiko also beat Nsuma 5️-2 with Dennis Kasirye , Edrine Kagende, Saziri Nkonge, Jaliru Zimula and Lumago Kawere scored for Butiko while Innocent

Kimuli stood up for Nsuma though it wasn’t enough for the side.

At Kawanda SS Enjobe failed to host Nakinsige as Nkusu also didn’t turn up at Buddo SS to host Mazzi ga Kisasi. 

Following heavy wins Njovu and Butiko progressed to second preliminary round while Nakinsige and Mazzi ga Kisasi shall wait for the confirmation from organizing committee.

On Wednesday 31s May the first preliminary round shall clinch its climax with five games as with Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium hosting two fixtures where Nvuma will play against Kibe at 2:00pm before Nyonyi Ndiisa taking on Kayozi at 4:00pm.

In other fixtures, at 4:00PM Ntalaganya will host Mbwa at Kawanda SS, Mpeewo will play against Nyonyi Nyange at Wankuluku and Nvubu shall welcome Nkejje at Buddo SS.
