Transfer: Ankole Lions Hunt From Eastern, Acquires Okoth’s Signature

In their pursuit to put a great show in the forthcoming 2021/22 Uganda Premier League season, Mbarara City FC confirmed the signing of Admin FC exciting attacking midfielder.

The Ankole Lions agreed in Principle with the Eastern Regional league side, Admin FC to take the services of attacking Midfielder, Aaron Okoth on an employment contract of four years.

The  21-year old playmaker, signed a lengthy four year employment contract with the Western Uganda based side effective the 2021 – 2022 season.

He signed the binding documentations (employment contract) on Wednesday, 28th July 2021 in presence of the Mbarara chairperson Mwine Mpaka and Admin officials.

The hard-working albeit intelligent midfielder expressed gratitude for the opportunity presented to him by joining Mbarara City.

“I am humbled to join Mbarara City Football Club. I want to remain dedicated to the course and deliver to the best of my expectations” Okoth stated.

Okoth before, featured for True Vine Soccer Academy, Galaxy FC,MYDA FC, Mayenje Santos FC, Lweza FC, Aaron also played for Mawogola Saza in the 2020 Masaza Cup edition held at FUFA Technical Center Njeru and St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.

Mbarara City in the same line of transfers, they have extended the contract of their two players, goalkeeper, Martin Elungat and goal poacher, Jude Ssemugabi.
