Boxing: Kiwanuka Returns in Ring to ‘Kill’ Georgia’s Kopadze

The Uganda’s pro boxing fighter, heavyweight, Kiwanuka Shafik who refers to be called the Killing Machine set to return in the ring in early July as he battle against Georgia’s professional.
On Tuesday while at International University of East Africa Auditorium, his promotion company [Great Strikers] in conjunction with the outgoing Uganda Professional Boxing Commission President Salim Uhuru Nsubuga, officially launched this fight and set the dates.
Kiwanuka who had a draw in his last fight that came against South African Christopher Andrew Thompson, will fight against Georgia’s Giorgi Kopadze on 8th July at IUEA and they are to have 10 rounds battling for Universal Boxing Council Intercontinental heavyweight title.
“I am very ready to take on the Georgian, I badly need the belt and I will make sure that I raise the Ugandan flag on the fight night.” I am the Killing machine and my fans know me for the KOs and I promise them another one.” Said an optimistic Kiwanuka
Besides the main fight, the night will have other under card fights.
