Namagabi Secondary School Kayunga returned back to her days of lost glory, crowned champion of three out the five trophies of Kayunga District Secondary Schools Sports Association on Wednesday 12th April 2023 at Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds Kayunga.
Namagabi defeated newbie St Mark High School via penalty shoots to seal the day with once again another trophy none other than Boys football. Full time ended in a barren draw and Namagabi won by 4-3 in the shoots.
In the semi finals of Boys football, Namagabi eliminated fellow giants, St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School Nazigo by 1-0 scored by Bukenya whilst St Mark High School ejected Kayunga Light College SS by 2-0 score line.
In Netball, Namagabi Secondary School were up by 2 against St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School Nazigo in a tight contest which ended 11-09.
In semi finals, Namagabi defeated Kanjuki Secondary School by 13-09 well at St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School ejected Suuka Islamic by 16-12.
Another category where Namagabi crowned champion was Volleyball boys, they defeated St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School Nazigo in the final.
Elsewhere in the Girls Football, Hopeful Future Secondary School needed a single goal from Nasiwa Mary to defeat Busaana Secondary School hence crowning champions.
In Girls Volleyball, St Mathias Kalemba Secondary School defeated Busaana Secondary School to take it home.
